Like A Virgin...Posting for the very first time

Wow, my first blog post on my first blog.  I'm joining the multitude of people who blog about tv. So, I'm becoming a stereotypical fangirl. Do I care that I'm a cliche? No. You want to know why? It stops my sister moaning about having me constantly rant at her about things she has no interest in. Win/win, I believe is the term.

Of course, it's typical that I now lack the ability to type 'blog' correctly. I seem to be typing blof at least twice before I manage to get it right. I suppose I could just look at the keyboard but that seems too easy somehow.

If you're reading this and you're not related to me (how did you find me?) then hello. I promise I'm exactly as strange as I seem. My family is too. We're living proof that weirdness is genetic and apparently contagious because everyone I've ever known seems to end up the same way. Maybe we just send out subconscious signals calling to our kind who share the same oddities.

Also, if you're not a relative or friend then you probably know nothing about me (dear god, I hope you don't) so I'll enlighten you a little. This blof (damn it!) will mostly be me ranting (or raving) about things I've watched, read, listened to or seen while around and about.

To make things easy I'll give you a list of things I love (adore, worship)

Glee
Supernatural
Merlin
Firefly
Doctor Who
Torchwood
Formula 1
Vampire Diaries (I have to be in the mood but when I am I watch it continuously)
Too many books to mention in great detail here but I do have an unhealthy obsession with supernatural books aimed at teenagers that contain creatures that occasionally like to suck blood, grow fur or okay, I devoured the Twilight saga amongst many of a similar theme. It's a fault that I need to work on. Especially since I'm not exactly in my teens any more.
I love a massive variety of music which you'll probably read about at some point.
Socks. The brighter and more patterned, the better. Socks are love, remember that.
Chocolate. Need I say more?
Pretty dresses. Worn with my lovely grey combat-y style boots.
Bags. Not just gorgeous handbags (of which I seem to have a bajillion) but backpacks and completely impractical purse sized affairs that I squeeze my phone and some money in when I go out.
Harry Shum Jr. and his frankly spectacular abs
Mark Salling and those lickable arms
Chris Colfer
Naya Rivera's completely amazing voice

Yeah, I've just realised I'm sounding majorly Glee obsessed (and a little slutty) but, in my defence, I'm listening to a megamix of my favourites from all 3 seasons and it's infecting my brain like a very fabulous sounding virus (Bad at the minute - I'm really not an MJ fan at all but I can't get this out of my poor head).

I think I'm done for now so goodbye small world of 2 people. I'll be back later with commentary on Dance With Somebody.
